The Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training is a qualification that every Lorry, Coach and Bus driver must hold. This essential qualification offers standardization within the Logistics industry. New drivers will need to complete four modules including theory and practical tests to obtain a CPC qualification

  • Practical driving test – A test to assess driving ability that is required to obtain a license.

Renewing your CPC qualification will involve, 35 Hours of classroom-based training, delivered over 5 modules. The modules cover,

Not every professional driver will need a CPC card, there are some instances where the driver can be except;

  • If the vehicle being used for is classified as ‘Non-Commercial’ – not being used to generate a profit
  • If the vehicle is only used to carry equipment that you need to complete your work - this is only the case if the vehicle is not the main use of equipment for your role.
